I went to the concert of SIMON & GARFUNKEL at BUDO-KAN, Tokyo Japan. Though I really don't know their glory days in 60s, their songs are very familiar to me on some films and famous albums.I love the melody of their songs of course, moreover lyrics that Paul Simon writes yield a deep beauty and a philosophy. His rhyming jingles feel a lump in my throat. I sang with them "Sound of Silence", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "The Boxer", "America " and so on.
Though Art's voices faded away their high-toned beauty like the old days, Paul's voices and guitar playing were very touched to me.
What a fantastic night, anyway.
